Heike Werner, fasting and hiking expert, Sylt
Heike Werner is a native of Sylt and studied Orientalistic. Her studies took her to Asia for a long time, especially to Thailand and Laos.
Today she lives with her husband and three children on Sylt and leads the house of fasting (Fastenhaus Werner.)
The Fastenhaus offers fasting weeks on Sylt and on a weekly basis also on Amrum, on Norderney, on the Baltic Sea and on Mallorca. These are visited annually by over 1000 people who have decided for a week fasting hiking Buchinger or Basenfasten-hiking.
